Called the "Stone House" by the Burnett Family, here is a view the Burnett mansion as it appeared in the 1890s. The view is looking northwest from Stoney Brook -

This appears to be a view of the Burnett grounds from the farm side of the property. Note the two small children sitting on the bank in the center of the photo. (It's easier to spot them by their reflections!) -
